Does Apple ever make exceptions to return policies?

i bought keyboard , mouse during black friday , noticed holiday return period ended yesterday. fault not double checking assumed in line holiday return periods (at least till mid-january , store till end).

guess sell them on ebay , cl lose percentage , big hassle. think apple make exception since 1 day late?
