i don't know else put forgive me if it's posted in wrong forum.
had verizon fios installed today , working fine except adium. error message when trying connect:
error: error requesting https://api.screenname.aol.com/auth/clientlogin: unable connect api.screenname.aol.com: ssl connection failed
i'm using verizon's actiontec router, airport base station connected in bridge mode. if connect through ichat works. adium throwing , keeps timing out. no settings on router (such port forwarding) have been changed. ichat works, adium not. adium able connect other chat protocols fine (yahoo, msn, irc, gchat). it's affecting adium , aol.
have experience issue and/or know how resolve it? calls tech support have been fruitless.
also, on side note, can't seem access forums.verizon.com either.
appreciated.
never mind, reinstalled stupid thing , connects fine.
