Macbook Pro (2011) and ATD calibration

hey!

so, got thunderbolt display today , wondering if there chance calibrate same (or near) colors macbook pro (matte display) using software only.

im using on both srgb iec61966-2.1 profile, colors on mbp lot more cool. grey'ish tones "aluminum kind of grey" in mbp, in atd more warm , dark'ish overall. plus, lots of other colors more dark on atd, others more vibrante (like orange example)

know 1 matte , other glossy, difference between them normal?

think have calibrate each monitor make them right, seeing different cannot apply same settings each 1 give accurate result - think.
