ssh into iphone

hi guyz! being new jailbreak, want know what's best place start learning ssh, installing themes pc, , terms winscp, openssh etc.

know little ifunbox , bit operating it..can use put theme , other files specific directories on iphone, without need of other s/w? thnx

 

with openssh installed on iphone, can connect using ssh program...that's need. ifunbox works differently believe, not ssh, requires direct connection (via usb)...if iexplorer, won't allow access locked directories, useless things uploading dreamboard themes.

if google ssh application windows (or mac if that's you're using), find several apps can use ssh phone. connect, select ssh connection, go settings>wifi on iphone , wifi ip address listed phone. "address" connecting via ssh program. username root, , default password alpine

warning: important change password possible. without doing so, can theoretically gain access phone, , whatever want...download pictures, texts, install viruses, delete vital system files, etc. pivotal careful this. also, make sure don't delete ssh unless sure , know need remove it. there no safeties on ssh...you delete important files keep phone working properly.

change password: open terminal (on mac/linux) or terminal program on windows, , enter following:

ssh root@<your iphone's ip address...note there no space between , @ sign>

yes

prompt password. enter alpine. enter:

passwd

ask new password. enter twice, , password changed. don't forget it!
