welcome photo of day. potd thread started igary in may, 2006 , converted monthly thread in november 2007 arn. potd 1 of popular picture groups on macrumors, exceeding 500 posts , 20,000 views per month.

photo of day intended showcase best pictures. there no limit gear, imagination. p&s , film cameras welcome along dslrs. there no themes fortnightly challenge , weekly contest, , no winners (or losers) either.



policies

*one photo per day - don't post more 1 photo each day.

*quote thumbnails - when quote image please restore it's thumbnail before replying. can either installing autotimg browser extension or editing code hand.

*multi-quote - comment on several photos, click multi-quote button. puts comments in 1 post. multi-quoting required on of macrumors forums.

*sfw (safe work) only - site - wide rule. if wouldn't show in public place, it's nsfw (not safe work). think before post.

*describe photo - tell , took it. if know exif data of photo, include it. following exif fields recommended: camera, iso, focal length, shutter/aperture , lens.
