same here, , it's ridiculous....i have done forums do, use mbp check email , internet surfing, screen brightness set low or medium, no music playing, no videos playing.
battery might last 2 hours if lucky. got replaced under applecare because said "out of tolerance" when took in checkup. have brand new battery gets 2-2.25 hours of use (and less 10 charge cycles), though it's rated 7-8 hours apple. happy 6 hours, cant make past 3!!!! how other people (with older/more used batteries mine) reporting 7 hours of use? help.....!
wow, have exact same computer , 2 hours or on full charge. may ask settings , 8 hours? hell, @ point happy 4-5 hours if could....lol.
yea, that's thought too---apple claims @ least 6-7 hours out of battery, around 2 hours, tested yesterday evening after work.
have same settings have, conservative power settings/usage. check emails , surf web. gives??
how?? have display turned down, no bluetooth on, no time machine, no word documents, , no flash content (that aware of); wifi , internet/mail.
2nd battery , still same problems? sounds pilot error me. you've got other processes going on aren't aware of.
can 4.75 hours intermittent bouts of flash usage while running winxp via parallels (idle). 5.75 hours no parallels. think pushed on 7 once screen barely readable , no wi-fi.
achieving 7 hours easy? well, no, not imo... takes careful power management can done.
