the mail app doesn't bring up my contacts

the mail app automatically reconfigured google account. contacts don't show automatic suggestions when start typing. know how can fix this?

if contacts on gmail website, mail not bring them in because use gmail account. mail's primary source of contacts address book. uses addresses previous messages.
