Taking Ipad on trip and backing up photos

hello all, planning on going on couples months trip thailand, , taking dslr , possibly ipad. thinking buying camera connector kit it. possible import directly sd card storage app, box.net or dropbox? have 16gb ipad, don't have lot of storage space.

 

i'm pretty sure you'll have transfer device , service... though don't quote me on i'm not sure.
