hi all,
have 2011 thunderbolt mbp. came snow leopard.
used transfer tool move on old mb (2007) mbp.
updated lion when released (summer 2011).
since parts of os run slowly. particular, preview , other small sized utilities.
have advice on how run diagnostics? feel there might legacy issues pulled across transfer of 4 years of data , settings mb.

launch activity monitor , change "my processes" @ top "all processes", click on cpu column heading once or twice, arrow points downward (highest values on top). see may consuming system resources.
