hey everyone. playing counter strike:source 3 hours mbp elevated heat can dissipate , playing game started lagging (it running smoothly night). when became unresponsive on screen(yet can see , hear other players doing) , when press escape mac home screen came disappeared , went unresponsive game screen. had shut off mac holding power button , since turning on been fine wondering, if overheat issue,is there damage concerns should have? or lay off games many hours in row? in advance.
yes, should worried. cooling on machine not working - combination of cooling , cpu throttling should prevent heat related shutdowns @ times, independent of load put on cpu.
there should not actual damage, since shutdown happens prevent this.
edit: after reading other comments, come think game crash more explanation - no heat issue!
