Plex Client not seeing library

hello,
have mac mini , macbook pro, both running lion, , both have plex media server , plex client installed. movie files on networked buffalo raid server. set pms on mac mini movies library pointing raid server, , pms on macbook pro set no libraries. both macs mount raid server @ start up. after first set up, left hand column of client on macbook pro listed movie library mac mini, it should. next day movie library did not show on macbook pro, if select search in left hand column, can find movies in mac mini's movie library.

today, experiment, opened media manager on macbook pro , added movies library pointing raid server. mac mini has 2 movie libraries in left hand column, 1 mac mini , 1 macbook pro. macbook pro has movie library macbook pro. suggestions on how make macbook pro see movie library mac mini? i've tried can think of , wiki page mentions nothing how works.
