i guess getting old...
reminiscing when there macworld ny/boston , san fancisco. never made ny/boston shows did go few macworld sf shows. pre/early internet(no on-line booking/planning) , first experience , first trip out of state after high school planned, paid , did myself.
shocked how big was, both moscone north , south full. had small seminars/classes , every hardware/software company made product mac large or small there. seemed after fight apple had idg on hold boston/ny expo , apple pulled out of event , idg killed sf macworld started shrink well. stopped going 14 years ago.
today watched footage years macworld/iworld , kind of sad see once great event(even bigger wwdc) being held in looked 2 floors of moscone west. know apple pulling out of macworld , advent of internet emphases on expos these have shifted.
guess progress you....
the industry has moved beyond these tech shows, remember sorts of computer shows in 80s , 90s. once apple pulled out of macworld writing on wall.
