Limitations to running a partition as NTFS-format? — if any.

hello there!

here's quick scoop:
have 2009 macbook (snow leopard) 32gb partition of windows xp professional 32-bit (sp2) fat format — suggested bootcamp manual. installation snap , both os's have been running beautifully far. sole use windows partition gaming — use game console macbook, if will. though right now, 32gb have 1 large game installed. holding 500gb hdd upgrade i'd in near future.

here's concern:
read when creating partition larger 32gb, must formatted ntfs, understanding read-only. though i'm not savvy on these things, comprehend , other sources files can opened/read/etc. new files can not saved said ntfs-formatted partition. if i'm understanding this, doesn't sound should right — can't see why 1 run on format restricts being able introduce new files use/run/edit/etc. can clear me? appreciate it.

thank you!

macfuse ntfs-3g let read/write ntfs partitions.
