iTunes Match Across Several Devices

i have itunes match , works flawlessly between my:

iphone 4s
ipad 2
macbook
apple tv 2

however, purchased iphone 3gs off ebay use car's music player. wanted itunes match sync songs on 3gs while car in garage. presented problem. cannot activate itunes match on 3gs, despite accepting apple id , password.



mean? previous owner had itunes match enabled , somehow remembers them? should complete restore? should have 1 apple id across of devices, don't understand.

can offer insight?

 

wait 19 days, you'll able it. restoring won't good.
