ipod touch and iphone app sync.

i have old iphone 3g , and old ipod touch both on 4.2.1 no icloud available. have more or less same apps installed , know if there way sync info inside apps have same data in both gadgets. let me give example: use ipod when training , keep records in apps interval run, 100 pushups , stronglifts. installed same apps on iphone when start them they're empty first day. there way achive i'm looking for?
