Email Client Help

hello,

looking email help. after years of bugging inlaws switch mac, farher in law bought latest imac.

ha used optimum internet , insists on using optimum email address. while using pc, used outlook access optimum email.

using mac, have few issues. 1. doesent want pay mac version of outlook. 2. apples native mail application , optimum
don't work together. 3. optimum website not work on safari.

so, i'm looking advice on free mac email clients use access optimum mail
