iPhone 3G Surfing Battery Test - Test your battery!

i've made simple page attempts simulate web browsing without having anything.

features text, large random image, , javscript creates ~3000 new lines, doing javascript computation. should simulate average 3g behavior.

automatically refresh page once every 13 seconds start of page load, , designed safari not cache it.

strain on 3g data cap should not much, html 2 kilobytes per refresh.

should:

0) charge iphone fully
1) set auto lock never
2) close background applications
3) turn off wifi
4) go http://glados.cc
5) record current time
6) when battery @ 50%, post here how long took 4s drop 50% battery during 3g surfing battery test.

apple claims 6 hours 3g surfing. should take 3 hours battery drop 50%.

make sure post device, , ios version too.

results on iphone 4s running 5.0.1, took 2 hours , 20 minutes drop 50%. kinda disappointing.

 

i've got better things hours of time!
