Apple Seeds iOS 5.1 Beta 3 to Developers, Restores 'Enable 3G' Toggle

returning holiday break, apple today seeded ios 5.1 beta 3 developers allow further testing of next update company's mobile operating system. new version arrives build 9b5141a, previous build 9b5127a released ad ios 5.1 beta 2 on december 12.

so far update appears available via over-the-air update mechanism existing ios 5.1 beta users, should become available general download through apple's ios developer program site shortly. we'll have more information on new build @ time.

update: we're still waiting apple post ios 5.1 beta 3 developer site release notes, commenters in our forums have noted new build restores toggle allows users turn off 3g cellular data access. apple notes on setting, 3g offers faster data speeds uses more battery power edge.




update 2: ios 5.1 beta 3 available via ios developer program portal. xcode 4.3 developer preview 3 , apple tv software beta 2 have been released today.




full release notes ios 5.1 beta 3 still have not been posted.
