Already own a Macbook, should I get an iPad?

i have 13'' late 2009 macbook pro , love it. getting amount of money when filed taxes, , i'm thinking getting ipad 3. experience, should one? i'm student, have option of saving money school, or getting ipad.

(also, due lot of financial aid, , paying school in saved cash, 2 years in without debt. not make huge impact on schooling, worth it?)

 

i'm using both , ipad won't replace macbook anytime soon. month's macworld has article guy replaces macbook ipad 3 days. did lot, it's no replacment.
