Safe to buy 4tb drive?


hi all,

have new seagate or hitachi 4tb drives? size attractive media server setup worry being unwitting beta tester since there new. i'm leaning toward seagate cache.

thoughts? lot safer stick 3tb now?

ps--search disabled apologies if covered recently.
 

"safe" yes. new technology not know of longevity. had decide same thing , went 2x 2tb instead of 4tb hd.
