Memory: 1.35V vs. 1.5V


i've noticed prices on 16gb ram bundles(8gbx2) have sunk rock, , i've contemplated upgrading. between ~$160 , ~$260.

newegg has couple of different bundles in stock, seem 1.5v variety. has been noted while current mbps rated 1.35v accepting 1.5v rated modules.

there difference in using ram rated use higher voltage logic board rated at?
 

i think got wrong. current mbps default use 1.5v ram. people have put 1.35v ram mbps, seems work, , seems safe small amount of power.
