Mail App

hi all,

have purchased first apple computer - macbook pro. have extremely happy purchase , glad have made decision go mac.

have finished setting mail app , have couple of questions have experience using mail app (i guess means me);

1. when delete email on mail app. not delete email in hotmail account, normal?

2. when read email on mail app. email still remain 'unread' when log onto hotmail account, normal?


if normal, @ possible reflect have done email on mail app onto hotmail account? in other words, if read email using mail, want same email appear read when log onto hotmail account.


in advance.

 

it impossible if don't state kind of account have. 2 situations describe guess pop3. want change imap if can.
