How much RAM to allocate Windows 7 (32bit) with VirtualBox?

how ram can windows 7 (32bit) take in virtualbox? i've heard giving can cause crashes , problems. i'll installing 8gb next week, there plenty go around

 

i think 2gb enough. 32bit windows can address 3.2gb physical memory.
