after ios5 came out, camera access lock screen (and volume-butter shutter), don't understand point of another camera app take pictures. there's no way can launch faster native app, , since it's using same optics , processor, can't technically take better pictures.

having said that, use camera + (and other photo apps) edit pictures after i've taken them. default photos app having basic editing features, that's happening less , less.
