Add back Deleted Mailbox

i accidentally deleted 1 of mailboxes, when go add back, message account exist. cannot see can delete account , start over. if go rebuild mailbox, nothing happens. suggestions on how can account working again?

if apple mail go system preferences>mail contacts & calendars>click on account deleted , press - button. should delete account go , next time try add account should let fine.
