i know people bad mouth ttp 5, had situation yesterday drive not dismount , had pull fw cable. of course got "warning, should eject, etc." (btw, why can pull cable without ejecting on windows pc no problem?). , sure enough, drive "damaged." fired disk warrior repair , dw locked up. tried same on different computer , dw locked again. tried disk utility , reported disk not repaired. tried techtool 5 , rebuilt drive no problem.
hats off tt 5! based on this, plan upgrade tt6.
