Need help with Java Error

i enrolled in online classes uses chat software called wimba. have had nothing problems on mac. new mac , bought first 1 in sept 2011. have lion. going pc mac still confused on how things work. have attached screenshot of error. makes not allowed type in chat , turns off audio professor talking shut off. sends error message , click boxed closed attempts reconnect. allowed type , hear audio again. within 15-20 seconds later on again.

words of advice? have attempted looking online , tells me software update have done. restarted browser, tried different browser, deleted java cache , reopened it, restarted computer , still coming same errors. appreciated!

have contacted school's desk see if known issue?
