i had coreduo mini in 2007 or 2008 think , died right out of warranty. past few months while friend in iraq i've been using mbp , have been reminded of how love apple , os x. have ancient 1ghz g4 emac running 10.5.6 holds itunes , such , works fine exception of flash. i've been getting imovie , fce , lets face it, there ain't way on poor emac.
here question have nice 22" monitor , apple keyboard. i'm trying decide if should base mini , upgrade ram or base imac.
ordinary email, web browsing, etc. want more involved home video editing activities more advanced photo editing. have gaming consoles don't game. don't want feel next year wished have gotten imac because mini not meeting needs.
know base mini officially tops out @ 8gb ram, support more?
guidance on issue appreciated.
given have, mini obvious choice mine. (core i7 @ 2.7 ghz)
