i seem having problem getting macbook pro on internet bedroom. router on ground floor in house , bedroom on top floor. however, know problem i'm having isn't signal because go on internet bedroom time , gives me trouble @ random times. have no problems on old dell computer or on ipad getting internet room. know there isn't wrong mac because take school every day , internet there works fine. know it's not case of how many computers router can handle either because when take mac downstairs , use it, works fine. problem , how sort out?
generally when i'm having issues i'll try static configuration, maybe try dhcp lease on ip, static gateway and/or dns. can use googles dns static value, 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
fwiw, use static configurations around home/office, have small pool set aside "guest machines".
more modes active on router, more problems see, turn off modes aren't being used, , confirm have latest firmware (usually check built in web ui routers).
