Folder Permission

i've been out of news while (new job, crazy hours). having visited forum today, seems there new virus seems questioning. while checking 1 of links provided here, webpage mentions virus creates image in /tmp/i.png.
check if had that, visited tmp folder , came across this. i'm assuming red icon @ bottom means denied access when double click, message receive (well along lines of that).
should mention sole user (admin) of computer clue why may case? thanks.

couple things... first, don't have it.
second, follow directions website gives terminal.

in addition, folders restricted root user.
