need some help with .mov files

so placing movies on sd cards can watch them on ipad while living in middle of africa next 9 months. transferring/converting them going great wondered if knew how embed cover photo files rather having first second of movie file image. have attached 2 files examples. 1 of .mov files has movie poster image, other has warner brothers logo. know how embed .jpg or whatever file necessary have image show rather first second of movie? im sorry if isn't clear, knew of , not call computer savvy. hoping of know how such thing on mac. can provide.

right click on movie in itunes , go info , click artwork tab. there can add image want.
