Mail account setup

i got new mbp , i'm having issues mail app. setup both gmail , yahoo using imap (auto setup app) , mail not pushing in timely fashion. set mail check 1 minute imap idle set not update in real time. waits check or if manually mail menu.

there missing? osx 10.7.3

 

do receive new messages within 1 minute of them being sent current settings?
