iPhone 4S 64GB doesn't hold as many songs as 40GB iPod Classic


anyone know why i'm not able load many songs on iphone 4s 64gb old ipod 40gb?

had 5000 songs on ipod.
maximum number on iphone 1245 songs.

don't have many apps or photos.

apps using .77 gb
photos using .02
other .75
audio 55.8
 

umm, really? have 2644 songs on 32g iphone -- have convert higher bit songs 128b aac on ... , still have 12.7g free.
