i looked can't find specific problem on here, so....
title suggests.... although recall read osx installation discs.
other that, can't read dvds/dvd roms or cd roms
tried pram thing , no change.
same problem on older macbook pro, thought due age.
1 2 years old, had had problem last year it's never been issue until i've bought new hardware needs drivers installed , have manuals on disc.
ideas why? no knocks or bangs etc, after better first born.
what it? info nice. model mac? model superdrive? aftermarket dvd player? using read discs?
