Will my GeveySIM card work if i update? Please I need a yes or no.

long ago, had buy geveysim card since baseband 04.10.01, , apprently had no other choice. since then, have risked no updates, , have been working on ios 4.3.3.
concern is, still work if update 5.0.1/5.1 ?
or, might have problem baseband been fixed, , don't need anymore?
appreciated.

 

you need maintain baseband if want use gevey unlock.
if update official firmware itunes lose unlock.
need create custom firmware updates firmware doesnt touch baseband in order update in future , stay unlocked.
5.1 tethered jb only.
