@ show, wdc showing 4 devices daisy chained thunderbolt in striped configuration. each mybook thunderbolt duo had 2 3tb drives, giving total capacity of 24tb appeared on desktop 1 contiguous 24tb device.
individual drives within each unit user serviceable/replaceable , can configured in either raid 0 or raid 1 configurations. product available quarter pricing announced then.
