i haven't read review yet, sync'd current wallpaper via itunes. emailed myself ipad check resulting file resolution on mbp. shows 2048x2048.

don't think sync'd photos downsized less screen resolution.

edit: read review. has mobile safari. looks bug imo. syncing photos through itunes not this.
