i'm looking buy imac shortly (waiting see if new models coming) wondering running noise on top 27" i7 ssd , 1tb drive option right now?
sold mac pro not bad (but under desk) , interim i'm using macbook pro 13" i7 far dead silent ssd i've put in it.
doing late night music production whirring of fans can distracting! thoughts welcome!

i'm running 2011 27" imac 3.1 ghz core i5 1tb hd , noise hear, under full load transcoding video, hard drive. fans run @ <2000 rpm , inaudible.
