How to fresh install ios in iPhone 3gs - Plz Help

hello,

i have bought used iphone 3gs, working fine when bought it.
when came home boot looping in recovery mode.

googled , thought of installing , upgrading ios.

dont know ios version or baseband because not letting me go past recovery loop.

tried install official ios 5 itunes gave me errors like,

1) 3194 (i updated host files , fixed)
2) 1600 (used ireb)

, few more errors, have tinyumbrella me.

messed these things.

ios version ios 3. sure not greater 3.

of these softwares want have shsh blobs, dont know , cant save them because
phone isnt booting @ all.

can please guide me on how install version of ios can unlocked , jailbroken,
atleast phone functional.

can save shsh , update ios 5 or something.
have windows 7 ultimate x32

appreciated folks.

have tried restoring 4.1? apple still signing specific firmware version reason. had 3gs come in 2 weeks ago doing same exact thing. not fresh restore ios 5. way going put in dfu mode , restore 4.1. after running 4.1, able update 5.0.1.

don't know why worked me that's thing working. i've never had phone before either. try , if won't restore either, may have hardware issue.
