Academic need: PDF mark with an attached outline?

hey everybody.

i'm using skim on mac os mark pdfs. fine solution, i'd create outlines on side use reviewing summary of reading in future. solution far has been create anchored note next title of paper , use make crude outline inside skim

basically, question whether there's better way or not using can run on osx. suggestions?
