hello iphone users! considering skype number. how services? on skype's website, states "no emergency calls skype. skype not replacement telephone , can't used emergency calling" guess 1 of important uses of cell phones ask during emergency. how come skype not allow users use service in life , death situation? there way around using iphone? thanks.
there number of reasons, not least of location. telco's use location call closest emergency line, skype wouldn't have way of determining that. skype isn't not replacement real phone.
said though, if aren't subscriber believe carriers required law allow emergency calls on phone.
