My Mac Pro has gone crazy since getting a Time Capsule

i have (i think) second generation mac pro. it's 2.66 quad xenon 5gb ram , radeon x1900.

got time capsule, set up, , backups seem going well. weird thing is, randomly video card fan ramp full speed, while computer asleep, , stay there until click mouse , wake computer.

have time machine? has else experienced this?

 

for purposes of diagnosis suggest temporarily turn off time machine. behavior persist? not time machine related.
