Messages Beta stopped working

is else seeing or me?

installed messages beta day after came out. friday. worked (including message syncing iphone) of friday , saturday. on sunday, stopped working. suddenly, red circle exclamation mark every message try send. when click mark or message, error in attached image.

on sunday uninstalled , reinstalled messages beta. after worked great again. until now. same thing before.

me or thing others seeing?

know it's beta , know hiccups expected, it's odd work great while, fail completely.

did more digging. found this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3742295?start=0&tstart=0

apparently, changing dns server in network settings 8.8.8.8, afaik google dns, trick lot of people. oddly, really. tried, did nothing.

next thing tried pull out ethernet cable, disable wi-fi , use tethering on usb iphone 4s. suddenly, messages beta works.

guess has local network @ dorm. doesn't explain why work 48 hours, break down, though.

seems these fun computer problems defy logic. stuff never broken. works first, breaks down without having changed in equation... oy.

anyway, thought i'd update thread new info.
