Iphone repair company uk

hi,
have iphone 3g , need battery changing original not keeping charge long , causing issues.
had on apple support section , said cost £55 + post , packaging. rather steep. wondering if recommend other repair companies in uk cheaper? i'm bit worried being ripped off or installing incorrectly resulting in further problems why i'm looking trusted company has used before.
