Help with adjusting application viewing size on Vmware windows

i running vmware windows 7 , works fine 1 exception. there programs run not able see entire program on screen either in full screen or other wise. realize can navigate program on screen using sliding bars @ bottom , right side but, still can't see of information on program need to. there way adjust size of program on screen.
