i have several (30) 3g , 3gs iphones got company when upgraded. wanting sell , have been asked version , firmware on phone.
when connect itunes asks want restore new , selected old backup , said software old.
tried old backup file , accepted , replaced old version current one.
how can determine version , firmware without updating new version? many want old version's.
on each phone, open settings.app , go general, go about. modem firmware , version(including build number) you're looking for.
also, can't reject upgrade request in itunes when asks you? shouldn't have update them.
