display resolution of macbook 1680x1050. use "change picture every 1 minute" big collection of wallpapers ( size 1024х768 4592 × 3016 ).

question : mac os x not use big (7 mb) , small photos wallpapers ? wallpapers small(big) dimensions ?

file size has not mac os x not using images wallpaper, in experience, if case, batch convert them "smaller" jpegs if necessary.
dimensions not big of problem, use wallpapers variety of resolutions (1280 x 800, 1680 x 1050, 1920 x 1200, 2560 x 1600).
maybe batch convert big ones smaller resolution, big resolution not needed.
