i have vacation home in korea. part of monthly maintenance fees, cable tv there. unfortunately, there entire years i'm not there.
so, i'd attach slingbox tv in korea. use airplay (via atv) on ipad play channels on tv in u.s.

i tested slingbox pro hd , apple tv 2 , worked fine on 55" samsung lcd. quality great, again i'm doing in house slingbox resides. image quality scenario rely on number of factors including latency (measured in ms, referred "ping") , available bandwidth, upload speed of internet connection in korea.
