Xgrid and MPI

i know pretty out there, wondering if had recent references or experience setting mpi xgrid.

appears dumped in 2007 , have not been able find recent explaining how it.

in detail:
i've setup xgrid nodes being recognized, , have installed gnu/openmpi on nodes.

openmpi claims if xgrid tools present on machine ( http://www.open-mpi.org/faq/?category=building#build-rte ) 'auto-magically' work, when attempt use mpirun, job not appear in xgrid.

when attempt submit job through xgrid cli using mpi, error code. if create host file, , submit through mpirun using -h, runs locally, , if submit mpirun -nolocal tells me no other nodes available.

i've referred thread (http://www.open-mpi.org/community/lists/users/2006/02/0581.php) , set environment variables in bash accordingly.

xgrid says supports mpi, mpi says supports xgrid... **** doesn't work.
