Username for iDisk Public?

i'm trying set connection public folder, mates mac mini. has latest version of lion installed.

when connecting server https://public.me.com/username finder asks username , password.

other forums have suggested username should 'public'. doesn't work. password fine use log public folder computer no problems.

should username be? have tried @me username, no avail.
